Did you know that making the decision to send your son or daughter to overnight camp doesn’t just give children a summer of fun, but they also learn and grow every day? At Forest Lake Camp, it is a guarantee that by the time you pick up your child at the end of the summer, they will have learned a ton of lessons that will stick with them for the rest of their life. Our boys camp in New York will give children the best summer of their life while teaching them and allowing them to grow!

  • Beginning on drop off day, children gain independence and learn to live on their own. More often than not, overnight camp is a child’s first extended time away from their parents, and this can be extremely difficult. But children quickly adjust to their new surroundings and gain the confidence and independence necessary to have an amazing summer at Forest Lake Camp.
  • Moving on, our overnight camp activities are the best around. Children will be able to choose what they want to participate in every day. By doing this, children learn decision-making skills and become more responsible. In other words, children will gain life skills and lessons in a fun manner where they don’t even feel like they’re learning!
  • Lastly, children are given a chance to reconnect with nature and see how important it can be to spend time in the great outdoors. Children need a chance to disconnect from the electronics and just spend time with friends. With the help of our amazing overnight camp staff, children will be given a chance to explore our campgrounds.
