Alumni NYC happy hour was a BLAST!

First Lake Camp alumni Forest Lake Camp hosted its first (but certainly not the last) alumni happy hour on May 8th at Puffy’s Tavern in New York City. Generations of FLC alum piled into the tavern coming from various areas throughout the tri state area. The evening consisted of old cabin mates reminiscing about times at FLC, catching up where everyone is today, as well as connecting with other alum that came from a different FLC era.

The highlight of the evening was certainly the raffle where the winnings were of FLC swag. John Kefer, Jacob Marshak and Heather Crawford won raffle baskets, and in typical FLC form sported the gear throughout the evening. Needless to say, there were many laughs shared, and fond memories to be had.

In addition to this happy hour, we are planning several more alumni activities throughout the year in effort to keep alum both connected to the camp we all remember best, and engaged in the development of Forest Lake. If you are interested in helping out please reach out to Gene Devlin (gene@forestlakecamp.com) or Mary Hearst (hearsty15@gmail.com).

Thanks, fellow FLC Alumni!
