Forest Lake Camp Events is Expanding

Did you know that over the past 15 years FLC has put on hundreds of events with literally thousands of guests? When we hosted our very first wedding in 2011, we never dreamed that we would by now have hosted well over 100 nuptials, school groups from several states, boy scouts, collegiate athletic teams, weekend concerts, family reunions, proms, church dinners, a feature film shooting, corporate retreats and even a dog sniffing competition!

When we embarked on this journey it was meant to expose as many guests to the wonders of FLC as we could outside of the core summer camp months. This expansion has enabled us to install new docks, erect the Confer Pavilion, and build the most magnificent mess hall in the camping world.  We have employed hundreds of staff beyond just the 8 weeks of camp, earned 5-star reviews from our wedding couples, and are about to enter our second decade working with a large school from New Jersey.

Yes we have been busy, but we can do even more!  Starting this year we are investing additional resources on further expanding our event offerings and are focused on filling weekdays with school groups and corporate retreats. Whether it be a local school coming to us for a field day, team building or senior celebration with games, activities and adventure, or a school traveling from afar for 3-4 days to expose their students to the wonders of the Adirondacks and an experiential learning opportunity, we are focused on bringing more children to FLC to learn and grow.  Furthermore, after years of weak, disruptive and non-existent internet we now have high speed connections where we can bring back corporate retreats without worrying about keep employees dialed in.  Whether for an annual meeting or retreat, a departmental team building experience, or just a fun family field day for an organization, we are committed to offering meaningful and professional experiences to our corporate partners.

We hope that you come visit us in 2025 in May/June or Sept/Oct where you can see for yourself how we operate outside of our core summer season.
