Coming this Summer to FLC

Activities and Clinics

There are so many great things to come as we look ahead to the Summer at FLC.

We have new members of staff mixing in with veterans who are joining us from all over the world. All of your favorite activities will return in 2018. Archery, Horseback Riding, Hiking, Soccer, Tennis, Rifle, Basketball, Drama, Arts and Crafts, Pottery, Softball, Baseball, Canoeing, Kayaking, Boating, Fishing, Waterfront and the list goes on and on. And while we are steeped in tradition and are keen to preserve that legacy, we like to keep things fresh and new with each coming Summer.

Our annual overnight trips and senior canoe trips are in the diary and so too is the off site rock climbing trip.

There will be a soccer clinic hosted by Wesleyan USSF A licensed Soccer Coach Geoff Wheeler, a photography clinic by ESPN Editor and Alumni Jason Potterton. We will also be offering an art clinic for campers interested in painting and drawing. Sadie Ball will lead advanced hikes in the high peak region and will also be continuing her work with new and existing runners. Heather York will return to share her considerable knowledge of the Adirondacks. We are working with local organizations to have a visit from a wild bird sanctuary so that we might know more about our environment and its inhabitants and we are working to bring in a seasoned Adirondack Wilderness guide to show us the signs of our indigenous friends here on camp.
