Welcome FLC’s New Assistant Director!

We are delighted to announce the arrival of Elyse Lindahl, our new Assistant Director, to the Forest Lake Camp community! With her passion for camp, the outdoors, and leadership development, Elyse brings a wealth of experience and a joyful spirit to our team.

Elyse’s journey with camp began as a camper at an overnight summer camp in Vermont. Since then, she has dedicated her high school and college summers to working there, taking on roles as a counselor, waterskiing instructor, and Ropes Course Director. Her extensive experience and deep love for camp have shaped her commitment to creating an empowering and joyful experience for all who step foot on FLC.

Hailing from the beautiful state of Vermont, Elyse has spent much of her time traveling throughout the west coast, east coast, and internationally in Nepal. As an experienced educator and community builder, she brings a diverse skill set to Forest Lake Camp. With a background in economics, marketing, leadership, and outdoor education, Elyse’s expertise in the outdoor industry is invaluable.

Elyse’s enthusiasm for connecting with both people and nature is infectious. She is thrilled to be joining the FLC leadership team and community, ready to foster an environment that encourages growth, friendship, and unforgettable experiences. Beyond her dedication to camp, Elyse is joined by her partner Drew and their adventurous dog, Siggy. When they’re not at camp, you can find them mountain biking, skiing in the North Cascades, or paddling in the scenic San Juan Islands surrounding their home in Bellingham, WA.

Please join us in extending a warm Forest Lake Camp welcome to Elyse. Her wealth of experience, love for camp, and commitment to empowering our campers and staff make her an outstanding addition to our community. We look forward to the exciting summer ahead under Elyse’s guidance and leadership.

Welcome, Elyse!
