They have already showed an incredible amount of perseverance, courage and leadership through the application process. We are so excited to for all they will bring to our community this summer. What is your name? My name is Cheka Orr.
How many summers have you attended FLC? This will be my 5th summer at FLC.
Where are you from? I am from Washington D.C.
Why have you returned to FLC summer after summer? This is where I made the best friends I have ever had and it’s a special place to me and it always will be.
What is your favorite activity at FLC and why? My favorite activity at camp is climbing and soccer, because I have really bonded with the climbing instructors and always have a blast! And I love to play soccer, it is my favorite sport!
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? I want to be a LIT so I can spend another summer at my favorite place and learn how to become better a leader and impact the FLC community.
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film, who would you be and why? I would take the place of Roy Scheider, in Jaws because it would be awesome to see a shark that big! And live in Cape Cod.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself? Humorous, compassionate, and FUN!
What is one thing you are really EXCITED about for your 2016 LIT summer?Meeting new campers and seeing all the returners too!
What is your name? My name is Alexis Klein
How many summers have you attended FLC? This will be my 6th summer at FLC.
Where are you from? I am from Westchester, New York.
Why have you returned to FLC summer after summer? I return to FLC every summer because I have created so many special bonds with people all over the world at FLC. I come back for the people, the nature, and the amazing memories that are made.
What is your favorite activity at FLC and why? I have so many activities that I love at FLC. Two that are my favorite are archery and the darkroom photography. I started to really enjoy and learn archery and photography at camp. I enjoy these activities the most and I love to teach these activities to others.
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? I want to be an LIT because I’ve loved every second spent up at FLC ever since I started going in 2011. I couldn’t imagine my life without the amazing friendships I’ve made, and I can’t imagine spending my summer anywhere else!
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film, who would it be and why? I would be Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in the movie The Avengers because she is confident, brave, adventurous, and rebellious. She’s amazing!
What are three words you would use to describe yourself? Athletic, free-spirited, and resilient.
What is one thing you are REALLY excited about for your 2016 LIT summer? I am REALLY excited for my LIT summer because I am excited to experience the transition from a normal camper to an LIT. It will be an experience I will never forget!
What is your name? My name is Andrés Silva.
How many summers have you attended FLC? 2016 will be my 6th summer attending FLC
Where are you from? I’m from Caracas, Venezuela!
What have you returned to FLC summer after summer? I’ll sum it up in 4 letters…. Love. What else can you expect from your family?
What is your favorite FLC activity and why? My favorite thing to do in FLC is to wake up, because I know it will be the start of another great day on my summer paradise. But if we got into activity periods, my favorite activity would be Fencing, because it’s something special I’m really good at but don’t get to do it back home.
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? I want to be an LIT at FLC because I’m sure it will help me improve my leadership and teamwork skills, and it will be a great opportunity to begin being responsible for the place I love, and to be able to help younger kids develop the same love for Forest Lake will be amazing.
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film, who would it be and why? I would definitely take Taron Egerton’s place in Kingsman: The Secret Service, because I relate to Eggsy in many ways, since he’s a cool guy, but at the same time he’s a gentleman spy, like a young James Bond.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself? Smart, Strong, Leader.
What is one thing you are REALLY excited about for your 2016 LIT summer? Out of the many reasons I’m excited to be part of the LIT team, one that truly sticks out is being able to be reunited with my brothers, to be able to be a part of something as important as this team with them means a lot to me.

How many summers have you attended FLC? This will be my 6th summer at FLC
Where are you from? I am from Cornwall, Vermont
What have you returned to FLC summer after summer? I have returned to FLC summer after summer because it’s the best place you can be during the summer.
What is your favorite activity at FLC and why? My favorite activity is archery. I really enjoy archery because it is easy to see the progress you are making and you get rewards like pins and badges if you do well.
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? I want to be a LIT at FLC because it is a great chance to become a better leader and person.
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film, who would it be and why? I would want to be James Bond because he gets to use so many cool gadgets and cars.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself? Three words I’d use to describe myself would be, energetic, adventurous and entertaining.
What is one thing you are REALLY excited about for your 2016 LIT summer? One thing that I am really excited about for my 2016 LIT summer is getting to meet so many new campers.

How many summers have you attended FLC? This will be my 6th summer attending FLC
Where are you from? I am from New Jersey
Why have you returned to FLC summer after summer? Because camp is my favorite place in the world and it has become my second home.
What is your favorite activity at FLC and why? My favorite activity at FLC is ultimate frisbee because I get to play with a lot of my friends in a fast paced game where we have a lot laughs and lots of fun.
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? I want to be LIT at FLC because I want to come back for my last year and make a contribution and a difference to the kids that come to FLC.
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film,who would it be and why?I would take the place of the Mark Watney (Matt Damon) in The Martian because I would like to travel to Mars and see what it is like to live there.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself? Funny, enthusiastic and friendly.
What is one thing you are REALLY excited about for your 2016 LIT summer? I am really excited to come back to camp and see all my old friends and share our experiences through team building and activities.

How many summers have you attended FLC? This will be my 6th 🙂

Why have you returned to FLC summer after summer? Because every year I get to be reunited with some of my best friends and a place that I love.
What is your favorite activity at FLC and why? It’s too difficult to pick just one favorite activity but if I had to choose it would be tennis & creative writing.
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? I look forward to making campers feel welcome because I know it can be a difficult transition but once you do it is very rewarding.
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film, who would it be and why? I would be Rey from The Force Awakens because she is fierce, creative & independent.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself? Kind hearted, funny & energetic.
What is one thing you are REALLY excited about for your 2016 LIT summer?I look forward to trying new things – I have never signed up for a hike & I hope to do that for the first time!

How many summers have you attended FLC? This summer will be my 3rd

What have you returned to FLC summer after summer? The friendships, the fun, and the lifelong memories. FLC is the place where I am my best self.
What is your favorite activity at FLC and why? I love all waterfront activities! The waterfront is such a beautiful place and I love spending time there.
Why do you want to be an LIT at FLC? FLC is such an amazing place and I want to contribute to its amazingness as much as I can.
If you could take the place of any movie star in an action film, who would it be and why? Rey (Daisy Ridley) in the newest Star Wars movie. She is fearless and confident.
