Meet Some Of Our New Staff

 What is your name? Hi, my name is Jamie Kerrigan.

Where are you from? I am from a little village called Longridge in the English countryside.

What activities will you be involved in while at camp? And what about these activities most excite you?  The activities that I will be involved in are camping, rock climbing, hiking and all other wilderness based activities. After having seen the surrounding area of Forest Lake Camp I am looking forward to going out into the wilderness and exploring new areas, camping out under the stars and building camp fires with the campers.

What three words best describe you?  The three words that best describe me are fun, outgoing and enthusiastic!!!!!!!!

If you could be any kind of food, what kind would you be and why? If I could be any kind of food I would want to be a pineapple because it gets to grow in a sunny country and is sweet and refreshing.

If you could be any super hero, who would you be and what would your super powers have?  If I could be any super hero I would definitely be Superman and the power that I would want most is being able to fly!

What about coming to Forest Lake are you most looking forward to? I am looking forward to coming to Forest Lake because of the amazing location and all of the activities that are offered to the campers. I feel extremely privileged to be able to lead camping and hiking trips in the Adirondacks and to be able to take campers on amazing adventures.

What is your name?  My name is Paula Walton.

Where are you from?  I am from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England.

 What activities will you be involved in while at camp? And what about these activities most excite you?  Arts and crafts!! I’m most looking forward to working with the campers and helping them create something that they will be proud to take home. I hope to introduce the campers to new and exciting crafts and I hope they enjoy them all.

What three words best describe you?  Thoughtful, caring and approachable.

If you could be any kind of food, what kind would you be and why?I would want to be Love hearts-because they’re sweet, cute and always say nice thing.

If you could be any super hero, who would you be and what would your super powers have?  I would want to be Luna Maximoff from the Marvel comics.  I like that she’s an empath- she can fully interpret and replicate the emotions of others. I think that is a really amazing thing to do and can help others-I would love to be an empathy.

What about coming to Forest Lake are you most looking forward to? I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and making some really great memories. FLC sounds like a really friendly and happy place and I am very excited to be a part of it.

Where are you from?  I’m from London, England

What activities will you be involved in while at camp? And what about these activities most excite you?   I will hopefully be helping out with soccer, swimming, ultimate-frisbee and science. As an Englishman, it is my national duty to love soccer. I am excited to see how well campers and counselors play it across the pond. I am passionate about science and I am looking forward to sharing this enthusiasm with others.

What three words best describe you?  Kind, calm and inquisitive.

If you could be any kind of food, what kind would you be and why?  I would probably have to say chocolate cake.  Who doesn’t love a bit of chocolate cake? If you could be any super hero, who would you be and what would your super powers be?  My superhero character would be The Time Traveler. There are definitely more exciting superheroes but I think traveling through time would be awesome.

What about coming to Forest Lake are you most looking forward to?  I am most looking forward to meeting lots of new people and spending my time in a beautiful setting.
