Forest Lake Local Camper Scholarship Opportunity

For the second year in a row,  Forest Lake Camp is offering  20 scholarships to deserving families in Western Vermont and Eastern New York. Forest Lake has again been provided with an unprecedented opportunity to award eighteen scholarships up to $2,000 each and 2 FULL scholarships (one to a New York family and one to a Vermont family) as a way to give back to our local communities and provide more local children this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. By providing this experience it is our hope that we contribute to the lives of our local children, which in turn will encourage them to contribute to those in the communities in which they live.

Applicants must be residents in either Western Vermont or Eastern Upstate New York, and be between the ages of 8-14 years old. Scholarships will be rewarded on the basis of a qualified written application.

Scholarship applications will be available to any new applicant; hard copies of application are available by calling 518-623-4771 or email [email protected]. Completed applications must be returned by mail or electronically by 4pm on March 1st, 2017. Awarded applicants will be selected and notified by March 15th, 2017.

In addition to submitting an online application. Applicants must provide 2 recommendations from either a teacher, coach, or community leader. Recommendations can be emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 518-557-8891
