As the last boat is put away and the ladders are removed from the Lake we remember all the groups who came and enjoyed our spectacular location here in the Adirondack Park.

In total we hosted 11 wedding couples and their friends and family, 3 school groups and 2 corporate clients. We estimate that we hosted over 1000 overnight guests and served food for more than 1,500. We had weddings on the Soccer Field, Campfire, Chapel and outside the mess hall. There was team building around the giants finger, the spiders web, scavenger hunt and many accepted the challenge of our raft building competition. We served BBQ’s, Persian based menus, Southern food and a completely Vegan weekend. Groups went off and scaled High peaks, hit the high ropes course at Adirondack extreme and completed early morning 5 mile trail runs on site lead by staff member Sadie Ball.

I personally would like to extend a huge thank you to all those staff who travelled from far and wide to work one of our rental events. We had returning staff travel from Philadelphia, Boston, Connecticut and Canada, all wanting to return to their second home and enjoy helping others share in the beauty and unique experience of Forest Lake Camp.

As cabins are closed for the winter and water systems are in the process of being put into hibernation, contracts for 2018 are arriving on a weekly basis.

We would love to host you and your group this coming season and if you would like further information please get in touch today at [email protected]
