Reflections from Family Camp 2023

As the sun sets on another wonderful summer, and the leaves (already!) begin to turn, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible memories, laughter, and bonds that were created during our recent Family Camp. The week shared with all of you is always a highlight of the summer and a week to which our staff look forward with enthusiasm and anticipation. We are truly grateful to have had you and your family join us for a week filled with joy, adventure, and togetherness. Your presence and engagement brought an added warmth to the campgrounds, and we hope you returned home with hearts full of cherished moments. Family Camp this year was an overwhelming success, thanks to each and every one of you. The energy and camaraderie that filled the air were inspiring, and we couldn’t have asked for a more vibrant and engaged group of families. Your active participation in all the activities, from campfires to nature walks, from pickle ball tournaments to the ever-popular Family Olympics, created an atmosphere that truly embodies the FLC spirit. And we could not have done any of this without the outstanding leadership and direction of Madi and Alvi! Thank you for keeping us all on track, as we navigated each day of unique and outstanding activities!

As we look ahead to next summer, we wanted to share an exciting update: applications for our 2024 Family Camp are already open, and spaces are already filling up. Based on the tremendous response we received this year, we anticipate that spots will be in high demand once again. Don’t miss out on securing your spot for next year’s experience! Remember, last summer we were fully booked within a few months, and we don’t want you to miss the chance to reunite with old friends and create even more memories with new families in 2024!
