The new dance pavilion is almost complete! It is 30’x50’ with a 6’ overhang that runs the entire length of the pavilion. As you can see from the photos, it is coming together nicely. Next up we will be pouring the polished concrete floor. There will be a sound system, floor to ceiling mirrors and a ballet barre. Everything we need to enjoy dance at camp!

This is part of a continued focus to always improve our facilities and advance our camp arts program. The dance pavilion is the first building of our new arts village, with additional buildings added next fall that will house science and crafts. The whole area will be fully landscaped with picnic tables provide more usable outdoor space. Music and Drama will also be able to take advantage of the new arts village which will be located on the old girls tennis courts behind Annex.

We have knocked down the old dance pavilion by the Girls’ Office and have begun building a third tennis court there. Tennis is always extremely popular with boys and girls so we’re adding courts to give more opportunities for tennis. Our tennis clinics are also a big hit and with expanded space we can offer more campers the opportunity to participate.
