Meet Some of our New 2018 FLC Staff

One quality that makes Forest Lake Camp so unique is its wonderful, caring and professional staff. We couldn’t be more proud of all that our counselors bring to our camp community each and every summer. We look forward each month to introducing you to our new and returning counseling staff.  In our December Newsletter we are excited to share a few NEW staff for summer 2018!

Where are you from? I am from Westchester, NY.

What three words best describe you? Fun, enthusiastic, and kind.

What are you most excited to share with your campers this summer? I am most excited to share my love of camp and all of the great things FLC has to offer. This will be my 8th summer but my first on staff, so I’m very excited to experience camp from a different perspective and give campers the same great experience I had!

If you could be any kind of food, what kind would you be and why? If I could be any kind of food I think I would be cake because it’s sweet, fun, and it’s not a celebration without cake.

If you could have any kind of super power, what would your super power be and why? If I could have any superpower I would want to be able to fly because I would love to be able to travel anywhere whenever I want and it would also be so fun!

What about coming to FLC are you most excited about? I’m most excited to return to my home away from home and carry on the traditions and be involved in camp in a new way.

What are you excited about sharing this summer with your campers? I am excited to share my own experience with tennis and some of the inner game of tennis with campers. I am excited to have a totally new experience and give campers a great time on the court and around camp!

If you could be any kind of food, what kind of food would you be? If I could be a food of any kind I would like to be a Gujarati food because its taste is sweet and a little spicy, but never harmful to your health. Gujarati food is also enjoyable anytime, anywhere and suitable to everyone.

If you could have any kind of super power, what super power would you have? If I could have any super power I would want to be a man with a body of rubber so that I could stretch my arms and legs as far as I wanted. This would allow me to live a life of animes, which is a Japanese cartoon.
