The lake completely thawed earlier this month. The water systems were flushed and the process of returning running water to all cabins and buildings began. In a couple of weeks there will be a work weekend when boats will be put in the water, “dead and down” picked up and finishing touches put to all those winter work projects. Next our cleaners will go through all the cabins and quite literally blow the cobwebs away, lay flat the mattresses and deep clean the bathrooms.
On memorial day weekend we host our first wedding and then the season gets well and truly underway. 11 Weddings, an Alumni Weekend, 2 schools and a corporate group will top and tail Summer Camp and Family Camp. Our 2017 season is a busy one and we are looking forward to welcoming guests from all over the US and indeed the world. As always we will be looking to go above and beyond to ensure the enjoyment of all our guests when they visit this place so may of us call home.
