Forest Lake Family Camp 2017

Family Camp is a coveted time of year for many families as it is a time to disconnect and reconnect to what matters most- one another.  What better place to do this than surrounded by 823 acres of beautiful Adirondack air, mountains and our private spring-fed lake.  Forest Lake Family Camp began 7 summers ago and has doubled in size, but has not lost an ounce of intimacy or uniqueness.  We happily reconnect with returning families each summer and embrace those new to our community. We value the fact that our camp family grows because of the impact FLC has on so many people and of all ages!

We thank those who have shared their families with us as we know that vacation times are sacred. We feel such gratitude that so many have chosen FLC as their family getaway spot!

When I asked my children at the end of the week how they rated family camp on a scale of 1-10, William gave it a “20”, and JP gave it a “15” (“but only because the mosquitos”). – The Hood Family 

Our first experience at Forest Lake Family Camp could not have been better! The location itself was breathtaking, the whole staff was so warm and welcoming, and our days were filled with the most fun activities. Each day was balanced perfectly with games, exercise, relaxation, and delicious meals. We had the BEST time at Family Camp, and the kids are still talking about it like it was yesterday and like we’ve been doing it our whole lives. I am still blown away by the fact that one week can feel like an entire lifetime. There is truly something magical about camp and the ability to get out of the “real” world, truly connect with those around you, and grow as a person by getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things. In no other place could a 4 year-old shoot a bow and arrow, climb on a climbing wall, canoe, fish and ride a horse in one day!
