Meet some our our 2016 Counselors

What about coming to FLC are you most excited about? Spending the summer in the dacks! I winter camp there all the time, but have never been when the temperature is above 40 degrees. This will be my very first one, but my 11th summer with resident camps. 

 What activities will you be involved in this summer? What excites you about this?  I am going to be involved heavily with the Rugby program as well as other sports and activities that are ran at camp. In conjunction with this I will also help with the wilderness team this summer. I am incredibly excited about sharing my experiences from being around and playing for a semi-professional rugby club over the last four years. I am hoping to be able to provide all of the campers the same high level of coaching that I have been fortunate to enjoy over the last nine years. I am also looking forward to taking part in the hiking and canoeing trips over the course of the summer.

What three words best describe you? competitive, extrovert, tenacious

If you could be any kind of food, what kind would you be and why? I would be a sweet potato because they are incredibly versatile and yet still manage to be full of good intentions.

If you could have any kind of super power, what would your super power be and why? I would have the ability to time travel as it would be amazing to go back through history and discover whether the age of the heroes existed (Heracles, Odysseus, Achilles, Aeneas …), find out if Alfred was really great or to discover how Genghis Khan conquered one of the largest empires the world has ever seen.  

What about coming to FLC are you most excited about? I’m most excited about being able to get immersed in the daily camp routine and can’t wait to experience my first campfire.
