About Us
Come to FLC to enjoy the outdoors, try new things and develop skills with our expert staff! Live in cabins, get away from cell phones and TVs, make new best friends, and have the chance to enjoy being a kid in a safe and beautiful setting.
FLC is a traditional sleep-away camp located in the Adirondack mountains of New York. We are a “Brother-Sister camp” with separate camps for Boys and Girls.
Spend your summer enjoying our 800 acres of private property with endless hiking trails and our own lake. Since 1926 we have been providing children from all over the world with a traditional camp experience that helps build independence, confidence, skills, and friendships that last a lifetime.

Camp options
Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is a very popular and space is limited. Lessons and trail rides are offered at the packaged rate of $120 for 2 lessons/rides per week or $240 for 4 lessons/rides per week.
Camp Photos
Preserve your child’s memory of camp by ordering your summer photos. With this order you will receive a camper profile picture (4×6), a cabin picture (5×7), and a camp photo of the girls or boys camp (8×10). The cost is $30 a package.
Waterskiing/Wakeboarding
We offer a half day clinic for waterskiing and wake-boarding which is available for $135 per clinic. Each camper is allowed to partake in up to 1 clinic for the 2-week session, 2 clinics for the 3 or 4- week sessions, 3 clinics for the 5-week session and 4 clinics for the full 7-week session.
English Immersion Program
We are very proud of the diversity we offer at FLC with campers attending from around the world. Our English immersion program is available for those campers where English is not their first language. Conversational English will be with 6-8 campers and will run 2 times per week for approximately an hour each time. Space is limited and sign up is on a first come first served basis. Price is $75 per week.
Camp Store
At FLC we offer camp store once per week to each camper. At Store we offer some special treats and drinks for purchase as well as various sundries, essentials, and FLC gear. Store is always very popular each week and we monitor what each camper can purchase. We recommend $30 per week and refund any unused portion of a campers store account. All proceeds from our camp store goes toward our scholarship fund.
Camp Linens
We are pleased to offer a linen services to our campers. This service is very convenient for our international campers and those coming by flight. Your linen packet will be waiting for you at camp when you arrive. Single Bed Sets cost $10 a week and include 1 Top sheet, 1 Fitted sheet, 2 Towels, 1 Blanket, and 1 Pillow and Pillow Case.

Forest Lake Camp is 5 miles north of the hamlet of Warrensburg, New York, in the southern Adirondacks, just off Route 9. We are about 1¼ hours north of Albany, 4 hours from Boston, 3 hours from Westchester County, and 3 ½ from Manhattan and Northern New Jersey.
The camp itself is situated on the side of Lookout Mountain with views of Vampire Mountain to the north and the Cat Mountain Range to the east.
We have 823 acres of fields and forest. We are on our own private, spring-fed, Adirondack lake- giving us the opportunity to swim, boat, and fish as we wish. Adirondack beauty is everywhere here.
