What a weekend we all had! Thank you all so much for making the journey to camp for our 2017 Alumni Weekend – especially to those that came from so far. I know that we speak for all of the FLC administration when we say how special it is for us to reconnect and spend time with former campers and staff members. To hear your stories and to hear how much your experiences have impacted and shaped your lives inspires us to work even harder to ensure that the FLC legacy continues on with continued strength each and every summer!
Below are a few reflections from those alum who attended our event. Please take a moment to view the photos. Also make sure you mark your calendars now for our 2019 Alumni Weekend. Save the date for August 16th- 18th. It is great to hear that so many of you are already looking forward to attending our 2019 Alumni Weekend!

I was last at Forest Lake Camp 20 years ago but during alumni weekend I was able to share FLC with my 3 boys ages 10, 9 and 7. Amazingly, it felt the same as when I first came to Forest Lake in 1984!
Friday night, after the boys went to bed, I was catching up with friends in the well. By 11 PM, the sky was filled with billions of stars and we pined for the days when the Northern Lights would touch FLC.
The next morning flooded back so many wonderful memories including a hike to Lookout Mountain and Chapel. The boys took in rifelry and of course an afternoon at the Waterfront. My favorite moment was sharing camp fire with the boys – from Bollie Bollie to some new and old skits.
The weekend ended with my first ever trip to Big Rocks. I can’t thank Gene, Lilly, Brett Booker and of course Geoff and Tobin for a very special weekend. Something tells me I may be back at FLC before I know it – maybe visiting Weekend 2018. – Jason Auerbach
Thank you so much for hosting this. It has been quite a while since we have been together. Rekindling the wonderful memories and friendships surrounded by the natural beauty of FLC, become treasures. – Larry Giusti
Reunion weekend was terrific. Reconnecting with so many old and making new friends is what FLC has always been about. The fun and “fond” memories started the moment I returned to that little piece of heaven in the Adirondacks. The casual atmosphere, activities and time shared at meals and campfires was outstanding. I especially liked all the memorabilia, pictures, etc. spread out in the new dining hall. Looking forward to 2019 and hope we can attract more to attend, as that will just make it all the more grand. I had that feeling of sadness I always get when I departed. Thank you for your hospitality and keeping the spirit alive. –Pete Galletly
Forest Lake is in a good place and moving confidently to the future.
Thanks again to FLC’s ownership and leaders, as well as my fellow alumni, for a fine event. – Jeff Cobb
Thanks for organizing a great alumni weekend. It was so much fun catching up with old friends. The gang is already looking forward to ’19! – Chris Stamm
What I liked about the 2017 Alumni Reunion? Well the obvious two things were catching up with old friends and being at FLC. Then, of course, there is making new friends among other alums. Something camp has always fostered and certainly happened last weekend.
The coolest thing was meeting parts of a whole new branch to our alumni family. Those who have chosen to get married at Forest Lake. I hope words of welcome get out to all of them. Thank you for bringing us all together! – Geoff Neu
